Job Description: Corporate Finance Manager
The Corporate Finance Manager plays a critical role in the finance department of the organization, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of corporate finance activities. This role requires exceptional financial expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to ensure the organization's financial goals are achieved and maintained.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive the organization's growth and profitability.
2. Oversee the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
3. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the senior management team to support strategic decision-making.
4. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions.
5. Manage the organization's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimize cost of capital and liquidity.
6. Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate financial transactions.
7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal policies.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, investors, and auditors.
9. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring their professional development and performance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
2. Proven experience of at least 7 years in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial regulations.
4. Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
5. Proficiency in financial software applications and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
7. Strong business acumen and the ability to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
9. Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a team.
10. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
